Please read this explanation about Catawiki first:

1. Catawiki is a catalogue

Our site is primarily a catalogue that gives an overview of everything that is created in a particular collection area. In many cases, we also present catalogue prices with the items. A catalogue price being listed for an item does not necessarily mean that the item is for sale. In a photo gallery, you can click items for additional information. When "In shop" shows a link to Catawiki shops, then the item is for sale. You do not need to be a moderator to add an item to the catalogue or to correct some of the data. Everyone can do that. Moderators review the data of others, for instance to prevent duplicates in the catalogue.

2. Catawiki is a tool for indexing your collection

When you click an item in the general catalogue, a button on the right-hand side of the window allows you to add the item to your collection. You can indicate the condition of your specimen and add additional data. That information is stored with your specimen in "My Collections". Using the Export function in My Collections, you can export your collection to Excel on your own PC.

3. Catawiki is a shop

When you click an item in the general catalogue, a button on the right-hand side of the window allows you to add the item to your shop, indicating the condition, the price and other additional data of your specimen. That information is stored with your copy in "My Shop". Other users can see in the general catalogue that that item is for sale in your shop.
