World's largest catalogue & auction house for collectors

What is Catawiki

What is Catawiki?

Catawiki is the online catalogue of collectables. With Catawiki you can keep track of your collection and wish list, start your own online shop, and get in contact with other collectors. Anybody is able to add items to the catalogue and edit them when necessary. This makes Catawiki the most complete catalogue. Every collectors’ area has its own moderators who are experts in that particular field. They make sure that everything stays up to date and that the valuations are realistic. There are dozens of areas that are rapidly becoming more complete. You can help this by adding items that are still missing. Is your entire area still missing? Let us know, and we will start it up together. We would also like to get in contact with people who specialize in one of the areas.

Searching

How can I find a specific item?

In the search bar, at the top in the blue bar, you can search for a specific word. You are then directed to a results page with the collectors' areas that were found (in the left-hand column) and items (in the right-hand column) that contain the search keyword. Registering and logging in

Why register?

When you register, you can chose a username with which you can log in. Logging in is necessary to keep track of your collection, start your own shop or to add or edit items in the catalogue.

To top

How can I register?

Click the Register button in the Catawiki toolbar. You need an e-mail address, a unique username and a password. We don't ask for any more than that. Usernames can consist of letters, numbers and if necessary a dash ("-"). Special characters are not allowed. You can use both lowercase letters and capitals. For the passwords, it matters whether you enter a lowercase letter or a capital. This isn't the case for usernames; they are not case-sensitive when you log in (though they are when shown on the website). A password consists of at least 4 and at most 15 characters. After you have registered you will receive an e-mail. Click the link in the e-mail to confirm your registration; this also activates your username.

How do I sign up for the newsletter?

To get an idea of the content of the newsletters, you can take a look at the archive of previous newsletters.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
