Find an item in your collection. This can be done via the different areas on the homepage or via the search bar at the top of every page.
Click the item in the gallery. You are taken to a page with the details of the item. Use the "Add to" field on the right. Add the item to your collection with this option. The condition of the item must be stated. You can also state other features. Only the "Condition" input field is visible to others.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until your whole collection has been added.. If you want to add items that are not in the catalogue, you can first add them in the appropriate collection area. Do this by choosing the "Add Item to Catalogue" button (in the left-hand column).
You can view your collection using the option "My Collections" in the menu bar. You can add your own pictures of items in "My Collections" when you click an item there.
You can also keep a wish list of the items you do not own yet but would like to have. You do this in the same way as managing your collection. Choose in the "Add to" field to add items to a wish list. Also state the minimum condition the item should have. You immediately receive a notification when an item you are searching for is offered in a shop. You can view your list via "My Collections" using the "Wish list" in the left-hand column. You will then see the wish list of the category you have selected in the left-hand column.
The special mobile version m.catawiki.nl means you always have your wish list at hand. This means you need never buy a duplicate item, because the wish list on your smartphone is always up to date.

In "My Profile" can you state details of your collection. In this way, users learn about your collection and get to know you better. This may help in establishing contacts with other collectors. You can also add a profile picture or choose one from the gallery. Every day we choose a "collector of the day". To be eligible for this, you need a profile picture (preferably a photo) and must add something about your collection.
By default, your collection is visible to other users. Optionally, you can indicate in "My Profile" that your collection is private, which makes it invisible to others.
Choose a clear profile picture, and become eligible for the "collector of the day"

If you want to sell all individual issues of one annual volume of Donald Duck, it is useful to be able to add it in a single action. Go to the catalogue and find the series you want to add. You can place check marks on the items in the catalogue. You have to do this for each page. Once you have placed check marks on a page, click the "Bulk add to collection, shop or wish list" button in the left-hand column.

Then you can state what you want to add. Select "Shop" and indicate a selling price. The items are then individually put up for sale at this selling price, unless you state that it is a "Combination offer" under "Offer as" (see the explanation of this below). You can always adjust the selling price of particular items in your shop if they have a different price.

Note: If you choose "Bulk add" without placing check marks, the whole selection (all items from all page numbers that you see at the bottom!) will be added. If you for example go to "Donald Duck (magazine)" and proceed directly to the "Bulk add"option, all single issues from the volumes from 1952 to now are added in one go. If you first choose a year in the left-hand column and then choose "Bulk add", you only add that single annual volume. You can delete any item you not own from your shop after a bulk add. This is useful when you have a lot of issues from a particular collection, but it is not complete yet.
In "My Collections" you can use the option "Export" in the left column to export your collection to your PC. The main fields are then put into Excel. The Excel files that are Catawiki creates are Excel 2003 or later and work on both a PC and a Mac.

Clicking "Add" will add the item to your collection. Only the "condition" field will be visible for other users. If you have an item that is not yet part of the catalogue, you can add it by choosing "Add item" in the appropriate collectors’ area.
