At m.catawiki.nl you will find a version of Catawiki that can be used on your smartphone (mobile phone with Internet). You can check the catalogue and view your collection and wish list. See which items you already have. This means you need never buy a duplicate item, because the wish list on your smartphone is always up to date. Very handy, especially at fairs!

You can place a Catawiki widget on another site. A widget is a small graphical object that shows the information of one website and lets you read it in another site. In this way, a collector with a Catawiki widget can show his collection on his own site as well. A shop owner can use a Catawiki shop widget to place his merchandise on websites that are interesting to him. And a fan club can place a widget from a part of the catalogue on their site. You can create a widget as follows:

1. Go to "My Collections" or "My Shop" via the main navigation at the top of every page.
2. In "My Collections" or "My Shop", go to the main area or subarea from which you want to make a widget. Then click "Create widget" in the left-hand column. You will see the widget and the associated code for showing your widget on another site. The site owner then has to place the code on his website.
3. You can customise the widget in terms of its title and dimensions. You can use 'scope' to set what the widget of the relevant area is to show: your collection, your shop or the catalogue. The 'type' lets you choose whether the default item from that category should be shown, or a specific curiosity. If the area that you want to create a widget from is not in "My Collections" yet, first add an item from that area to your collection. 4. Make sure that the code is placed on the site where you want to show the widget.

You add the widget to Hyves as follows: In "My Collections" or "My Shop", go to the main area or subarea from which you want to create a widget and click "Create Widget". Then, under "Widget type", choose "Hyves gadget. Then click "Use these settings for your Hyves gadgets". A link will appear in the green area at the top of the page that you can use to add the gadget to Hyves. The only thing you have to do is enter your username on Hyves.
