Jonathan Cox

Auctioneer Jewellery

I love to see beautiful items that haven’t been on the market for a hundred years.

Jonathan Cox

Jonathan was born and raised in Africa, where he first learned about gemstones and hasn’t lost his interest ever since. His study in Geology directly relates to his career choice and after graduation, he started a path in to jewellery, silver and watches. He has been doing this for over twenty years, with a wide variety of private customers and commercial contracts. Consequently, he has built an international network and has come across some very rare and exclusive pieces, which have brought him a great deal of knowledge and experience.

Jonathan is pleased that he can now use this experience at Catawiki and can further his passion at the same time. With the international expansion of Catawiki, more and more interesting and desirable pieces of jewellery are offered by our sellers, with enthusiastic buyers competing from all over the world.
