Fine whisky is like liquid jewellery.
Anne-Sophie Bigot was introduced to good whisky when she was a teenager. She was instantly captivated by the distinct taste and wanted to know more. As she started to understand more about whisky, Anne-Sophie Bigot became particularly charmed by the rich history behind these bottles of liquid gold. Consequently, she worked at various distilleries in the UK to help with tourist activities. Once back in France, she was in charge of online marketing for a French whisky distributor. At the same time and with great enthusiasm, she started her own whisky blog which quickly became very popular, after which she decided to fully focus on the blog.
Anne-Sophie Bigot still works on the blog, but in addition she has taken on the role of auctioneer at Catawiki. With her work experience, her blog and her passion for whisky, she really knows what is happening in the whisky market. For this reason, she can quickly value the lots that come in. Moreover, she can always count on the help of her vast network of whisky connoisseurs that she keeps in touch with via her blog.
