A really incredible Glenfarclas - a forty-year old expression of cask-strength cult favourite 105, bottled late in 2008 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the appearance of the 105 expression. A great, well-sherried cask strength release. This was bottled in honour of chairman John L.S. Grant's father, George S. Grant who bottled a cask of Glenfarclas at Christmas time to give as a gift to friends and family. He would leave the whisky at cask strength, in this case a cask strength of 105 degrees 'British Proof'. This expression was released to commemorate 40 years of the 105 cask strength Glenfarclas.
