Box (254x169x77mm) is of American origin. Made of lacquered wood. The lid, that has been attached with two brass hinges and closes with one brass lock, features two Chinese characters. There are brass decoration on each corner. On the inside of the lid the Pung Chow Trade Mark is printed. Inside there is one high tray for the tiles. The four loose, narrow compartments for the counters etc. were missing and are repro-ductions. Tiles (22x29x9mm) are made of two layers of synthetic material. White on top. Black on the bottom. They are imprinted, in red, green and blue, with the standard Pung Chow characters and images. They have slightly rounded corners. Of the distinc-tive Pung Chow dragons the White dragon is silver. There belong no spare tiles to the set. Counters are thin strips made of white synthetic material (celluloid?) of different length printed in red and blue with Western denomination. There are also bigger strips with one golden dot worth 2000p. There belong no wind indicators to Pung Chow sets.
