Manual for collectors of translated nineteenth century adventure novels, with a bibliographic character. From Aimard to Zobeltitz, with a lot of information about titles, prints and publishers. At the end of the 19th century, the adventure novel genre reached its peak. In our country the work of nearly 200 writers, mostly foreign, was published. Only a few of these are still known today (Hector Malot, Karl May, Robert Louis Stevenson, Jules Verne). The multitude of unknown stories, which have hardly been reprinted, forms a forgotten heritage, which has been inventoried by the Karl May Association under the project name 'Forgotten Adventure'. This inventory includes approximately 1200 titles by 173 different authors (and therefore not of the aforementioned, for which bibliographies already exist), which were published by 469 different publishers. Results of this study, in comprehensive, fully color-illustrated form overviews (publication history, dates with justification), are recorded in 3 parts overviews. The fourth part contains extensive information about the authors, an alphabetical list of all titles, registers of book series, publishers, editors / translators and illustrators.
