You could argue that this clock is a piece of twentieth century design history - it was the first of Braun's analogue bedside alarm clock range. It was co-designed by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs in 1975 and being the earliest in the series, is a collectors' piece and correspondingly hard-to-find. The classic Braun analogue clock features - the matte black casing, pared down dial and coloured hands (wide white hands for hours and minutes, narrow yellow for sweeping seconds hand and inconspicuous black hand with contrasting coloured point for the alarm setting) - are all present. It has a rocker switch next to the dial for the alarm.
