The original title Oscar and the Treasure of the Majas has been changed by the creator to Oscar and the Treasure of the Maya only on the cover. In the 1st edition with yellowish-white cover some strips are missing and these were taken off the market by the publisher. In addition, the brief notice to announce the second part of the story is not in the middle. The 2nd revised version with off-white cover does not show these imperfections. The 3rd edition has two extra full-page plates, however the notice is in the front again.
