The last version of the Sunbeam police car, this one has a black roof and white doors. It features 'luminous door panels', jeweled headlights, 'folding rear seat' and opening rear window! Being newer than the others also meant, that this version came in a windowed box.
Being produced up to 1972, means this version had the far longeest production span, which makes one wonder why the values are only marginally lower than the other versions (both lasting only a year). If you look at the number of copies sold, you'll see the answer: despite being made for 3 years, this one sold only 144.000 copies, compared to the 211.000 of the others. I guess this one was 'old news' when it came out, and customers didn't fall for it.
