Aerial photo with a clear outline of the Wolpherenwal with the bastion and the Wilhelminaplein in it. You can also see the two barracks and the Great Tower, which is partly under scaffolding. The Grote Toren was under construction because of restoration that took from 1939 to 1951. At the very back of the houses of Suzanna van Oostdijkstraat and Willem van der Veldestraat. De Grote Toren stond in de steigers wegens restauratie duurde van 1939 tot 1951. Helemaal achterin de huizen van de Suzanna van Oostdijkstraat en Willem van der Veldestraat. Die huizen waren in 1949 klaar. Datering van deze foto was dus 1949 - 1951.
