The silver medallion exists in 2 thicknesses, 3 mm and 2 mm, the presumption is that the thinner type is a subsequent re-strike of the thicker type.

The 1984 Lobel Fantasy Medals Series, designed by Richard Lobel, re-strike using slightly different planchets are easily recognized from the Geoffrey Hearn Fantasy Medals Series by looking at the medallion rim. In the Hearn series it is a denticled border in the Lobel series it is a beaded circle
