Roger Worms was born on June 19, 1907 in Epernay, France. He attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts Décoratifs, Paris and later became a teacher there.
He founded the Salon known as Le Sport et Les Artists. In Paris, he was a member of the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Indépendents. In addition, he exhibited at the Salon des Peintres Témoins de leur Temps and was invited to the Salon des Tuilleries.
In 1936, worms participated in the Exposition des Artistes de ces Temps at the Petit Palais. He openly admired Manet and the Impressionists and from 1934, produced seascapes, Breton landscapes, and still-lifes that were painted in dull blue-green harmonies.
He exhibited at the Lycée Janson-de-Sailly, at the Ministere des Sports et Loisirs and the town hall in Mazamet. In 1937, he decorated the Pavillion des Sports for the Exposition International, Paris. Moreover, Worms produces many vases for the Manufacture de Sevres. Worms is listed in the Benezit Dictionary of Artists and unfortunately died in 1980.
