1/24 SCALE PORSCHE 962C JAGERMEISTER

A Pillar of the Ultimate Legend: Porsche 962C by Brun Motorsport
The dawn of a new era in endurance racing began in 1982 with the launch of the World Endurance Championship. At its heart was the Group C prototype—the Porsche 956. Dominating the racing scene, the 956 evolved into the legendary 962C, which was supplied not only to the factory team but also to numerous privateers, earning its reputation as one of the most powerful machines in motorsport history.
Among them stood the Brun Motorsport Porsche 962C, a standout entry in the 1987 season. Dressed in a striking all-orange Jägermeister livery, this Swiss-run car competed in both the World Sports Prototype Championship (WSPC) and the German Racing Championship (DRM).
From 1987 onward, Brun Motorsport fielded up to three 962C machines, and in WSPC, they achieved a remarkable feat—finishing second in the championship, ahead of the Porsche factory team. As one of the top privateers, Brun played a key role in Porsche’s continued dominance well into the mid-1990s.
