Hi, I’m Luca — an artist (born 1979) originally from South Africa with Italian roots, now based in the United Kingdom. My journey with art began when I picked up a paintbrush at 13, later formalizing my passion with a Fine Art education in Cape Town. As a child, I was lucky to travel the world as part of the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir - experiences that opened my eyes to the beauty and diversity of nature across continents. Those moments still echo in my work today. My paintings are inspired by the wild, the raw power of wildlife, the vivid colors of the earth, and the quiet resilience found in every living thing. I paint to capture that sense of strength and vitality we all share, a reminder that, like nature, we can endure, grow, and thrive. My work has found homes with collectors across the USA and Europe, but what matters most to me is connection - that spark when someone sees a piece and feels something familiar, alive, and real. I hope my art brings you closer to that feeling too.
