Bronze sculpture titled “Saïda” by E. Villanis (Emmanuel Villanis), depicting a young woman wearing a headscarf, executed in the sculptor’s characteristic Art Nouveau style. The sculpture bears the cast signature “E. Villanis” on the base and the foundry stamp of Société des Bronzes de Paris, a well-known Parisian bronze foundry active in the late 19th and early 20th century. The base is additionally marked with the number 250, consistent with foundry or model numbering. Cast bronze with a warm brown patina. Based on visual inspection and handling, the bronze appears to be thick-walled (approximately 3–4 mm) rather than a modern thin decorative casting. The sculpture is not attracted by a magnet, supporting bronze composition. The piece weighs approximately 3 kg. Dimensions: approx. 30 cm high, 20 cm wide, 12 cm deep. Condition is good, with age-related patina variation and surface wear consistent with period bronze sculptures. No visible cracks, breaks, or restorations observed. A well-executed and expressive bronze bust by a recognised French sculptor, suitable for collectors of Art Nouveau and French decorative sculpture.
