Mondaine - Vintage - Ohne mindestpreis - Cal. Eta 2789 - Herren - 1960-1969

Mondaine Automatic Day-Date – Cushion Case – Purple Gradient Dial – 1969 – 35x40 mm Elegant Swiss-made Mondaine automatic wristwatch dating from approximately 1969, featuring a distinctive cushion-shaped stainless steel case and an eye-catching purple gradient (fumé) dial. The watch is powered by the reliable Swiss ETA 2789 automatic movement with 25 jewels and Incabloc shock protection, a well-regarded calibre widely used in quality Swiss watches of the late 1960s. The dial displays a beautiful sunburst gradient effect, transitioning from a lighter center to a darker outer ring, complemented by applied hour markers and a practical day-date display at 3 o’clock. The red central seconds hand adds a subtle sporty character typical of the era. The watch is fitted with an integrated stainless steel bracelet that matches the case design very well. The bracelet clasp is not original but fits perfectly and functions correctly, while the crown is original.
