Antique apothecary pill rolling board with matching roller in wood and brass. Used for hand-forming pills prior to industrial pharmaceutical production. Typical late 19th century example (circa 1860–1890).
The set consists of a grooved board and a matching roller, used to form evenly sized pills from medicinal paste. A functional tool from historical pharmacy practice, now primarily collectible.
