Produced by glassworks Brockwitz in the early 20th century this beautiful uranium glass vanity set consists of four perfume bottles with original stoppers, big water bottle with tumbler, ring holder, hair pin tray and two cotton/powder boxes with lids. The glass itself contains uranium oxide giving it a yellowish green tint in daylight and truly amazing fluorescent effect under UV light. There may be tiny air bubbles in some of the pieces which is a signature mark of antique pressed glass. Most significant defects are described below and also included in the pictures. Big water bottle has a vertical internal crack in the neck, a small dent on the side and what appears to be a fabrication defect on the bottom as there is a piece of glass missing but the edges are not sharp. A big air bubble on the bottom with minor hard deposits. Ring holder has a chip on the base, just as the biggest perfume bottle stopper. Generally in a very good condition.
