The Colt was launched in the 1980s as a military-spec instrument and became one of Breitling's most accessible tool chronographs. The A53035 quartz chronograph version, produced through the mid and late 1990s, paired the recognisable Colt case architecture with one of the most accurate quartz chronograph movements ever built — a caliber developed jointly by ETA and Breitling, with twenty-seven jewels and a tachymeter scale around the outer dial track. Tritium on the hands and indices has aged to a uniform cream tone. The case retains its original geometry with light wear on the polished bezel and crown guards. Crystal is clear.
