Die Akai GX-210D ist ein klassischer 4-Spuren-Stereo-Bandrekorder (Reel-to-Reel) aus den 70er Jahren, ausgestattet mit automatischer Umkehrfunktion (auto-reverse) und Unterstützung für Spulen bis zu 7 Zoll. Dank des robusten 3-Motor-Antriebsystems und der langlebigen GX-Köpfe ist dieses Modell bekannt für seine zuverlässige Funktion, geringen Verschleiß und ausgezeichnete Klangqualität. Mit einem Frequenzbereich bis 25 kHz und einer soliden japanischen Bauqualität ist die GX-210D noch immer beliebt bei Sammlern und Liebhabern analoger Audio.
