Beautiful iconic armchair "Liba", designed by Borek Sipek for Driade.
The Liba is an armchair upholstered with rattan. The seat and backrest are made of natural cane, red and black cane with solid black ebony front legs. The chair is made for indoor use and is a real eye-catcher.
The well-known designer Borek Sipek is an artist and craftsman, who can bend materials according to his wishes. He did this by combining rattan and sugar cane, bending and colouring them in unusual patterns.
BOREK SIPEK was a world-renowned architect and designer, renowned professor, visionary and post-modernist.
The photos show the condition of the chair. Some minor signs of wear on the cane, which is appropriate for its age and one finishing circle is missing on the left armrest.
Due to the fragility of the chair, it can only be picked up. The chair can also be delivered inside the Netherlands (€ 75), with the exception of the islands.
