Prepared/worn shirt of the footballer Nicolò Barella, when he played with Cagliari.
This shirt has all the characteristics of the shirts used by the team in the championship in the 2018-2019 season and has some small marks (presumably due to the field).
Discovered by Gianfranco Matteoli in the Gigi Riva Football School, he moved from a very young age to the Cagliari youth teams. He joined the first team in the 2014-2015 season and made his Serie A debut on 4 May 2015 against Parma.
After a short experience with Como in Serie B, in the summer of 2016 he returned to Cagliari, newly promoted to Serie A. Also thanks to the injuries of some teammates, he soon climbed the hierarchy of the team, and at only nineteen he became regular player of the red and blue team lined up by the coach Rastelli. He made 28 appearances in the championship and contributed as a protagonist to the salvation of Cagliari.
On 17 September 2017, at the start of the 2017-2018 season, he scored his first career and Serie A goal in a 2-0 win over SPAL. On 17 December of the same year, in the away match against Roma, he became the youngest player to wear the captain’s armband in the history of Cagliari, at only 20 years, 10 months and 9 days, beating the record that belonged to Nicola Murru. He ended his second season as a regular player in the top flight scoring 6 goals in 34 championship matches.
On 24 February 2019, in the match against Sampdoria lost 1-0, he reached 100 appearances with the red and blue shirt. At the end of the season, Barella became the player with the highest number of balls recovered (253) in Serie A 2018-2019 and won the Bulgarelli Award as the best midfielder of the season, while at a scoring level he scored only once in the season, deciding the away match against Atalanta on a penalty. In the last match of the season against Udinese (lost 1-2) he reached 100 appearances in Serie A with the Sardinian team.
On 12 July 2019 he then went on a loan to Inter, a team in which he still plays and where he seems to want to stay for a long time.
