Beautiful necklace from the Bauhaus Era, decorated with "forget me nots" and spheres.
Made around 1925-35 by a creative silversmith from the area of Pforzheim, Germany.
Bauhaus ideas were quickly embraced by educational centres for goldsmiths and silversmiths.
In the German jewellery centres, convincing jewellery in the style of the Bauhaus was created, which showed a complete departure from classical jewelery.
The jewellery was defined by shapes such as circles, spheres, cone, square and loops.
