Jan van der Straet worked in Italy (the Medici), and he inspired and was inspired by Antonio Tempesta.
Philips Galle was a Flemish engraver and publisher in Antwerp/ Haarlem. As engraver he worked for Hiëronymus Cock and Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
