The production area of Brunello di Montalcino is the one regulated by the DOCG disciplinary, the highest honor. It falls entirely within the municipality of Montalcino. The vineyards used have an age between 10 and 25 years and are completely included in the company. The composition of the land on which they are raised is particular and includes various origins, all characterized by the richness of the skeleton. The best are the marly ones. The exposure is multiple and affects the sides: South, South-East, East, North-East, North, at an altitude between 300 and 500 meters.
The vinification involves the use of 100% pure Sangiovese grosso grapes. The grapes are then made to vinify in red at a controlled temperature, the maturation lasts at least 3 years and takes place in Slovenian oak barrels.
