Splendid manuscript in French dating back to the first half of the nineteenth century, divided into 3 different chapters: Astronomy, Geometry and Architecture.
In perfect condition!
Part one: "Le Monde Sideral, Des Etoiles", an expert hand drew the main constellations in red and black, illustrated with the names of the individual stars. Dozens of pages of text, written in small and precise calligraphy, describe the different sidereal systems.
The second part is a short treatise on mathematics and geometry and contains, in addition to the definitions, numerous problems with the related tables and solutions.
Finally, the main Orders of Architecture are reported, along the lines of Vignola's work, the plates are glued to the pages of the manuscript and in perfect condition of cleanliness and sharpness.
Hardcover, spine with 6 raised bands and gold title, pages made of papier maïs paper, very clean and well inked. Pp.: 107, unnumbered.
Three truly remarkable works that admirably fulfil the main purpose of the author, and which must then consist of a more complex editorial project to be developed.
The entire universality of its eminently philosophical destination is deeply characterized in the form of a fascinating series of drawings, which the author wanted to address to people not necessarily experts in the subjects covered.
This small writing, frivolous only in appearance, leaves an impression as enduring as it is extensive, of real wonder.
