Very good condition, slightly softened headcap with a small tear in the tailcap, very minor scratches on the front cover, a small tear in the border of the back cover, interior is very fresh without any foxing. Sunned spine.
Very good copy, the colours on the front cover are quite bright, free of foxing and which, despite the previously mentioned flaws, remains superbly fresh.
First and only large octavo illustrated edition, sold in late 1908, a few weeks after the original published without illustrations, paperback, in octodecimo format.
