Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. 97/100 Robert PARKER 96/100 Revue des Vins de France 2025 95-96/100 James SUCKLING 95/100 Guide Bettane et Desseauve 2025 Deep garnet color. Nose of blackcurrant and slightly liquorice, finely woody. The palate is long, moderately ample, with red fruits, on a supple finish with ripe but precise tannins. It is a terroir wine but supple thanks to a strong presence of cabernet franc.
