Nephrite is a variety of Jade. The name Nephrite Jade comes from Spanish and means lumbar or kidney stone. The Maya and Olmecs attributed positive effects on the kidneys and body detoxification to it. Indigenous peoples of South America, especially the Maya and Olmecs, used Nephrite to craft valuable artifacts and statues. Nephrite is believed to have its best effects on the heart chakra.
The Nephrite Jade gemstones are crafted here into a sphere. Since each stone is unique, there may be variations in color, texture, and size.
