Notes:
William Dixon was a highly regarded chronometer and watchmaker in early 19th-century London, officially listed as Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty. His workshop at 10 Lothbury supplied precision marine chronometers and fine pocket watches to the Royal Navy and private clients. This example combines exquisite English craftsmanship with a richly decorative presentation, making it both a collectible horological piece and a work of art.
