Frühe Damast-Leinenservietten aus dem 20. Jahrhundert mit den Initialen F.C. - Serviette - 70 cm - 80 cm
6 elegant linen napkins with F.C. initials.
For a change they are not sitting in a oval wreath ,but embroidered
in high relief on the damask itself. Each initial carries a small token
of a posy with flora.
I think this was deliberately done as to not to distract from the
beautiful border with platted ribbons and bows .
Each corner and the centres have bows and the shading has been so
well achieved. The edgings and interiors have scatterings of snow flakes.
The border has a continual garland of small leaves.
