Antikes Burmesisch, Pyu-Staaten Rohamethyst Halskettenperlen - 37 cm
A lot of 21 pieces, 37 cm raw amethyst necklace beads from the ancient Burmese, late Pyu culture.
End of 1st millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1995 in Mandalay/Burma by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
