The Viennese design label MOWO – move with wood was founded in 2021 by architect Lisa Stolz and specialises in wooden seating that encourages movement. Her interior design line combines minimalist aesthetics, timeless design, and high functionality – with the aim of rethinking traditional seating. "MOWO originally arose from the curiosity to develop a soft wooden seat. Today, I am motivated by the desire to loosen up our everyday lives, which are characterized by prolonged sitting, and to create a new seating experience through flexible wooden forms," ​​says the founder.
