Νύχτα ή βροχή Café, μπαρ, δρόμος, ιστορικό κτίριο, πόλη, κωμόπολη, αυτοκίνητα και ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα μπορούν όλα να αποτελέσουν subject πίνακά μου, είναι συναρπαστικό το φως, η ατμόσφαιρα, τα χρώματα και η αντίθεση.

Paul Cheng γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Γκουανγκζού Κίνα και σπούδασε στο Guangzhou Fine Art College Κίνα, μία από τα πιο διακεκριμένα σχολεία καλών τεχνών στην Κίνα. Αποφοίτησε με πτυχίο BFA από το ίδιο ίδρυμα και δίδαξε σε αυτό. Οι πίνακές του έχουν εκτεθεί σε διάφορους διαγωνισμούς καλών τεχνών στην Κίνα, Αυστραλία και Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες και έχει γίνει βραβευμένος καλλιτέχνης. Ο Paul Cheng φιγουράρισε στο Southwest Art Magazine τον Απρίλιο του 2013. Έχει εργαστεί για μερικές κύριες εταιρείες ψυχαγωγίας ως Sr. visual development artist, art director και Sr. illustrator σε εταιρείες τυχοπαιχνιδιών στην Αυστραλία και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Αυτά τα πρότζεκτ στα οποία εργάστηκε είτε είχαν υποψηφιότητα για το Oscar Best Animation Feature Film είτε κέρδισαν το Oscar Outstanding Achievement in Character Design σε μια Παραγωγή Κινούμενης Εικόνας και ένα Emmy βραβείο.
