A beautiful set of 6 vintage hand-cut lead crystal brandy glasses, made by Ajka Crystal, Hungary, circa 1970s–1980s, in the elegant “Queen Victoria” pattern.
The design features deep, entirely hand-cut decoration, not pressed or machine-cut, consisting of:
• Central “Hobstar” (starburst) motif
• Diamond-cut (cross-cut) panels in the middle section
• Fan- or palm-leaf-like cuts in the upper zone
• A 16-point star on the base – a hallmark of classic hand-cut lead crystal craftsmanship
Typical of Ajka’s production: brilliant sparkle, perfect balance, and fine 24% lead crystal clarity.
Measurements (each glass):
• Height: 12.5 cm
• Bowl diameter (widest point): 9 cm
• Rim diameter: 6 cm
Condition: Excellent vintage condition – no chips or cracks, minimal signs of age and use.
Material: 24 % lead crystal
Origin: Ajka Crystal, Hungary
