This listing offers a set of four vintage, thick-spined traditional Japanese Deba knives, each bearing its own maker’s signature and regional identity.
These knives were crafted in Japan using traditional forging techniques, and each piece carries the quiet weight of years and use — ideal for collectors, restorers, and Japanese knife enthusiasts.

1. Sakai Hisamitsu(堺久光)

Total length: Approx. 30.5 cm

Blade length: Approx. 17 cm

Handle: Wood

Features: Signed blade

2. “Tōroku Matahei”(登録又平)

Total length: Approx. 29.5 cm

Blade length: Approx. 16 cm

Handle: Wood with traditional copper ferrule

Mark: Branded “Sakai Registered Matahei Insurance” on handle

3. “Tōroku Kinobu”(登録紀宣)

Total length: Approx. 28.5 cm

Blade length: Approx. 15.5 cm

Handle: Wood, with label “Sakai Registered Kinobu”

4. “Sumiyasu Dōjō”(炭一道場)

These are authentic vintage deba knives with thick, sturdy blades.
As expected for older handmade knives, they show:
