How do I contact an expert?

During the object submission process, you can send a message to the expert if you scroll all the way down to the page. There, you will find a text block entitled ‘Message the expert (optional)’. And the message window will look something like this:

These messages will be sent along with your submission to our experts, which means this is not the same as a direct messaging platform, such as how you may interact with our customer experience staff. It also means that you are likely to not get an immediate response from the experts — response times vary between 24 hours and 1 week. Response times also vary between each category of objects. 

You will be able to see the answer from an expert in your submissions page from your account, as well as in an email that you will receive once they reply. Please be aware that after your object has been approved into auction, you will no longer have the message system available.
