Nightstand (2) - Walnut, Marble

Elegant pair of nightstands in mahogany and walnut with a top in Rosso Verona marble, a refined synthesis between eclectic 1950s taste and Louis XVI references.

The lines are sober but enriched by two carved crowns with an interlaced Greek-key motif running along the upper band, creating rhythm and depth. The drawers feature a pendant handle in Piedmontese Louis XVI style, flanked by finely carved floral friezes. The tapered legs echo the carving in the upper part, providing stylistic coherence. Drawer guides operate perfectly.

Solid structure and overall in good condition; two minor veneer peelings are noted and a light chip on the back of the marble, visible in photos 21 and 24.
