Pair of antique wall lamps in gilded brass – Rococo Revival style, circa 1900

Refined pair of antique wall lamps in gilded brass, richly decorated with elegant volutes, botanical motifs and stylized foliage, reminiscent of Rococo Revival style.

The lamps date from around 1900, a period when the eighteenth-century Rococo taste is reinterpretated in an nineteenth-century key, with curved shapes, fluid lines and a scenographic yet harmonious decoration.

The original gold gilding is still very well preserved and widely present on the entire surface. The items have been carefully cleaned, deliberately leaving light traces of patina and old dirt as a testimony to their age and authenticity.

For those who desire it, a deeper cleaning can be performed, as the gilding remains intact and stable.

Both lamps have been completely re-wired and are fully functional. Each element features two candle lampholders, giving a graceful and balanced look, ideal for classical, historic, or French‑style interiors.
