A pair of metal rabbits, rendered with rounded volumes and a dark patinated surface. One rabbit is depicted upright with raised forepaws, while the other rests in a seated position. Dimensions: 11 x 10,5 x 8 cm 16 x 14 x 9 cm Okimono (置物), combining the kanji "oki" (置き, to place) and "mono" (物, object), refers to a decorative object meant for display. Okimono, popular in the Meiji period (1868 - 1912), were finely crafted sculptures made from materials such as ivory, boxwood, wood, and bronze. ---The okimono is in good condition. There are slight signs of wear consistent with age and the surface shows subtle variations in tone Please refer to the pictures for further details. ---The item will be carefully packed and shipped via DHL express or FedEx.
