Journey – Escape - is the seventh studio album by American rock band Journey, released on 31 July 1981. This album is one of Journey's most successful and critically acclaimed works and contains some of their biggest hits that became rock anthems. "Escape" was a huge commercial success, reaching number one in the Billboard 200 charts and selling over ten million copies in the US alone. The album received favourable reviews for its strong songwriting, musicality and production quality. "Escape" is considered one of Journey's defining albums, with several tracks that have become timeless classics of rock music. "Don't Stop Believin'" in particular has achieved cult status and continues to be celebrated across generations.
