Original oil on canvas by Joan Cruspinera Muñoz (Tiana, Barcelona, 1945), a prominent figure in contemporary Catalan art, painter, draftsman and printmaker with an international career.
Trained at the La Llotja School of Barcelona between 1960 and 1963, he extended his printmaking studies at the Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg and resided there on a scholarship in Paris and London.
He also worked in New York and Berlin thanks to scholarships from the Circulo de Bellas Artes of Madrid and the Goethe-Institut of Barcelona.
Winner of the National Prize for Engraving in 2000, awarded by the Calcografía Nacional and the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.
