Rare Vintage Bosa Ceramiche Table Lamp with Postmodern Cap (1980s)
THE OBJECT: This is an extremely rare and impressive table lamp from the prestigious Italian ceramics studio Bosa Ceramiche (founded 1976 in Borso del Grappa). This piece likely dates from the early 1980s and is a perfect example of postmodern luxury, also known as the 'Hollywood Regency' or 'Glamour' style.
BASE & MATERIAL: The lamp base is entirely ceramic, but finished with a stunning trompe-l'œil faux finish of root walnut wood (burr walnut).
