A warm, radiant yellow fills the area and initially seems almost calming – like a moment of light that expands and holds the gaze. Yet, when you look closer, something else reveals itself beneath this apparent calm.

Fine, gray cracks run through the surface. They are not loud, not dramatic, but like quiet interruptions in an otherwise steady thought. As if the color pauses briefly in places, hesitates, or remembers.

These small disturbances take nothing away from the warmth of the painting. On the contrary: they give it depth. It doesn’t appear flawless, but experienced – as if it has absorbed time, tension, or feeling.

Thus something emerges that feels almost familiar. A yellow that not only shines but also tells that even brightness can have its cracks.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often expressed only through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process where authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame measuring 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have a craftsman or gallery owner stretch it for you.

This is a handmade original, which the artist has signed on the back and dated by year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on a repeatedly white-primed gallery canvas.

Additionally, a varnish was applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and thus unique!
