The sculpture "Equilibri" 34 cm x 28 cm x 15 cm and weighing 10 kg is made in Carrara marble using the direct carving technique. Signed at the base by the artist with a chisel. Unique piece in excellent condition. The work is shipped in a wooden crate.

The piece expresses itself through organic and fluid forms. It presents two ascending volumes that intertwine softly, culminating in an elegant curve that defines a hollow space. The polished surface of the white marble, speckled with delicate gray veins, enhances the purity of its lines and the interaction of light and shadow. This unique piece explores visual harmony and the contained tension in its abstract composition, inviting contemplation of its dynamic balance.

Pedro Paredes Carcelén is a sculptor whose career bridges tradition, craft, and material exploration. Hailing from a family linked to blacksmithing, he has developed work focused on wood, iron and, more recently, stone and marble. His recent training includes the Sculpture in Stone and Wood course at Escola Massana - Massana Permanent, in Barcelona (2023 and 2024), and a specialization in marble sculpture in Val di Castello, Tuscany, Italy (2025), experiences that consolidate his sculptural language and his interest in solidity, texture, and the expression of materials. Among his recent exhibitions are Atelier Riu - Escultura, Barcelona (2023), Sun Ranxx 2025, Cunit, Tarragona (2025), Sala La Salita - La Mujer, Gijón, Asturias (2026) and the group show at Sala Abartium, Vic, Barcelona (2026).
