A rare bronze monkey deity bead talisman from the Ancient Indochinese culture, dating to the Second Millennium AD, measuring 115 mm high, 88 mm wide and 88 mm deep, in good condition with original antique patina, acquired from a gallery/antique dealer in Thailand in 1995 from the Dr. Zelnik collection.

A rare bronze monkey deity bead talisman from the ancient Indochinese culture. Second MIllennium AD.
Dit is een bronzen beeldje van het Thaise wezen Si Hu Ha Ta, ook bekend als de "vijf-ogige, vier-orige" god van de rijkdom
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient artisan casting,carving and grinding work. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1995 in Chieng Mai/Thailand y Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
