Silvia Montanari was born in Cattolica (Rimini) in 1989; she collaborates with critics and art galleries in Emilia Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo who propose her works at an international level. Her artistic production draws on the primitive unconscious of childhood, playfulness, and fairy-tale imagery, which reveal themselves in a figurative style illuminated by a vivid color range. Through the act of painting, the artist allows us to relive beloved moments; one can perceive everyday images in a dreamlike universe. Montanari's style is based on a fusion of representation between reality and imagination. A realistic precision of contours, a solidity of material well grounded to the ground and around, as if there were an atmosphere projecting our unconscious.
